Coronavirus Bulletin 1 - March 12, 2020

Curaçao Civil Aviation Authority directive to all airlines flying to Curaçao

A directive from the Curaçao Civil Aviation Authority with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak has been sent to all airlines flying to Curaçao, stating the following:

When checking in foreign countries, passengers who have been in China (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), Singapore, Iran, South Korea as well as the provinces Lombardy, Veneto, Emiglia Romagna, Piemonte, Aosta-vallei, Trentino-South Tirol, Friuli-Julisch-Venice and Liguria in Northern Italy in the past 14 days or they had been in contact with someone who has proven COVID-19 and they are ill, are not allowed on board.

Passengers who did not visit the above mentioned countries, are welcome to Curaçao, but they must be informed beforehand by the airline that they will receive a health alert card upon arrival and kindly ask all travelers' full cooperation to follow the instructions on this card.

Should someone on-board during the flight develop symptoms or appear overtly ill (coughing, problems breathing and fever), the local authorithies should be informed.
