Second Directive of the CCAA and the Government of Curaçao

Today, a second directive of the Curaçao Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak has been sent out to the Immigration department at our airport in which is stated that the CCAA, together with Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP), has decided to request the Immigration to close all E-Gates immediately until further notice, so that all arriving passengers need to pass through the Immigration counters.

Additionally, to take extra precautionary measures for our country and ensure all citizen’s safety, the Government of Curaçao has decided that as of March 14, 2020, the airport will be closed for flights departing from Europe to Curaçao (inbound flights) until further notice. Flights departing from Curagao will remain as scheduled.

CAP, together with the CCAA, the Government of Curaçao and the public health officials, are continuously monitoring the developments.
