Additional measures taken by the Government of Curaçao
The Government of Curaçao has taken additional preventive safety measures effective March 16, 2020, to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Curaçao.
With regards to aviation, these are the following extra precautionary measures:
Incoming flights:
- All commercial flights are canceled with the exception of flights carrying local residents in the possession of a valid round trip, and an identification (sédula).
- Authorized specialists, freight and medical services between Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, St. Eustatius and Saba are exceptions to the rules.
- All returning residents are obliged to spend 14 days in quarantine. This needs to take place at home, as long as this is possible.
Departing flights:
Only non-residents are allowed to travel. Residents are not allowed to travel abroad.
